RE: Sonos :-o

Richard

I'm not sure on the wireless question but I had nothing show up through
netstumbler.

I have a number of players located around the house, most of which are in
the roof void. I have had no problems at all with the remotes connecting
to
the players - even out in the garden.

So they document anywhere what encription is used on the wireless?

Does it show up if you run netstumbler/kismit on a machine while the sonos
is
running?

I am very aprihensive about putting some undocumented wireless equipment on
my
LAN, that, and that the remote and the player have to have radio line of
sight
have basically written it off for me to use here, the arbitary 30000 song
limit
is also a no go.

Shame, as its a nice looking and probarbly very usable product with some
amazing
shortcomings in its design.
