There arent many open wireless lans around here anymore - its about a 60/40
split between WEP and some form or WPA, and I know some of the people that
go
busting wep to get onto wireless to do dodgey things, so yes its an issue.
I suspect that there propritary mesh is merely WDS, as there was never any
inclusion of how it works in the standards, any implimentation is
propritory.
