Paul,

Isn't the 15A breaker on the *outlet* of the filter ? i.e. between the
filter and your existing consumer unit ? The instructions say a minimum
of 15A breaker, but since the filter is good for 250A your 100A consumer
unit should be fine.

Rather than replace the whole CU, you could mount the filter in a
second, smaller CU, e.g.

Or this one which gives you isolation between the Company fuse and your
filter:

than 20 quid)

I think the filter is 76mm wide, which makes it equivalent to 3x MCB
modules wide ? (not too sure though)
