It's the first pocketable device I have been able to type anyway decently
on.  It has nice little rubber feet for setting it on a desk.  Although
most
of the time I hold it in both palms and type with my thumbs.

No.  There are SDIO GPS devices around, although you'd need to check
compatability with the Universal.  I use a Bluetooth receiver I got from
linitx.com

You can use Terminal Services to hop onto your PC and control iTunes :)
