Hi Everybody,

My name is Cathal from Dublin, Ireland.

I'll be starting work on building a new house in early 2006 and was=20
hoping to incorporate some home automation in it. I started off=20
looking into X10 - but after doing a bit of research it would appear=20
that for a new build CBus would be the way to go.=20=20

What I'm after now is a bit of advice. At the moment I'm trying to=20
estimate what I'll need in terms of equipment. I've come up with=20
the list below (from cbus-shop.com) - I'm a complete novice when it=20
comes to this so I'm sure I've missed some basic kit! Any opinions=20
on this would be greately appreciated.

I'm also interested in installing the Comfort security system.=20=20
If anyone has any details of electricians/technicians in Ireland=20
with Cbus or Comfort experience please let me know.

Cheers,

Cathal
