[OT] ish Split Level for home theatre

I once again want to use the collective knowledge and advice of the
group. I am in the process of having a house built and have been
considering creating an artificial split level in my lounge to make it
like a theatre. The lounge stud height is 2.4m and the lounge measures
6.3m by 4m I had considered making an artificial theatre environment and
have 2 rows of 3 chairs. Would this be plain dorky or is it a valid idea
and would it look ok. I thought the back seats would be about 300mm
above the normal floor. I would have made a dedicated theatre room but
alas money and space on the section prevented that. I realize the
obvious answer is will it be used more as a lounge or a theatre and the
answer is =96 I don=92t know. So opinions please good idea or just plain
dorky ?
