John,

Did you get a response to this ? I couldn't see one but may have missed
it.
I would give it a try with the soldering iron and Cat5 for both 2-way
audio and video.

If that's no good, probably the next cheapest solution would be an RF
modulator and send the a/v over a coax run. I'm not sure how you'd get
two-way audio over a single run though.

Finally, if that's no good, try a pair of Keith's KAT5 modules, now
available from www.laser.com. You may need a custom pair though to
handle the two-way nature of the audio. Keith'd be the best one to
advise.
