Thanks, I may have to do that, though I would prefer the easy route :-)
My BT socket is hard-wired into the CAT5 cabling, and so the BT
circuit appears on the patch panel, connected to the filter by a Mod-Tap
BT socket to RJ45 plug adaptors, and the obvious way to shove the phone
line back into the structured cabling is to use an adaptor with the BT
plug at one end and a RJ45 plug at the other, was hoping to be able to
buy one off the shelf but can't find any. The other option is to punch
down a BT ended lead on to the back of the patch panel, but thats a bit
messy. Can you give me any info on which pin on the BT plug connects to
which one on the RJ45? - I have details of a number of apparently
conflicting combinations, would be best to just copy what you have done
(because it works!).
