Thanks Rob and Paul for your replies.

I all ready have the cable ducting under ground so I was just hoping to
pull
some CAT5 through.  The external CAT5 cable should do the job I guess but I
won't use 305mtrs.  I need to see if I can find some cheap 50Mtr rolls.

I've just run some CAT5 outside and underground in the pipe you can
get from aquatic shops for pumping water around. It's completely
waterproof and flexible and comes in a range of bores. Seems to be
working fine (has 8 runs in it).

Minitran do some external cat5. I've not used it, don't know if it's any
good etc.
