I'd never go as far to say IE is the safest browser available, because
it most certainly isn't.

Over IE does have some very useful features that FireFox, to my
knowledge, doesn't. For example I can control the settings of IE very
simply and very easily across 300 machines with a couple of mouse
clicks.
