Here's some in-depth research into the same problem with the US version
(CM11)

Scroll down to the bottom for the procedure.  I haven't looked inside the
UK
version (CM12) to see if the layout is the same, but if it is, the same fix
may work.  It doesn't look like the components are handling mains voltages,
so the same ratings should do for the UK.
