Why not get yourself a Honeywell wiring centre with all of the terminals
marked - see http://content.honeywell.com/uk/homes/FAQ/wircenop.pdf
or http://tinyurl.com/674q7. You
can then follow the Honeywell wiring
scheme directly without needing to understand too much about why it's wired
so confusingly, and simply replace the standard CH programmer outputs with
those from your HA controls. Use a relay with both N/O & N/C contacts
for
hot water control to provide the HW on & off signals and you'll then be
sorted. This approach also makes reinstating the original programmer much
easier when you come to sell the house.
