Ian,

If your talking about the Pace Twinview box, the last I heard from some
friends is that it's shockingly bad...
Bug riddled software, that's full of holes...

As for a Tivo controlling a FreeView box, it works just great. I've got a
Thomson DTI1000 FreeView box I bought from Richer Sounds over a year ago
and
it's been rock solid. The only hiccup was caused by a software download to
the FreeView box, it popped up an 'OK to reboot' message and the box sat
there...

Hi All,

I have been asked by SWMBO to get freeview for her folks. They have a
TIVO that I bought them a couple of years back which they like but do
not use any of its special features. I do not really want to add
another box that the Tivo controls so I am considering a Freview PVR.

Anyone here got one and can offer an opinion. Or how workable Tivo is
controlling a set top box.

Thanks in advance.

Ian
