Hi Mark,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I understood that WMC could be installed on an existing PC - is this not
the
case?  I have a PIII that I would like to install it on but if that isn't
possible then I will have to go down the MCE route.

My short term plan is to feed a plasma with the output of a PC/XBOX running
some sort of media centre but will be doing all the smart stuff on tivo.
I'm not really interested in recording, I just want a nice gui for the
telly
that will let me browse photos, videos, tv plus be able to use the telly as
a monitor to run programs and maybe a game or two...

Maybe I should go and find out what the differences between xbmc and WMC
are?  Could anyone recommend a good site highlighting the differences?
