RE: [OT] XBMC or WMC?

I'd think a PIII 800 is waaaaay below spec for WMC Pedro - it's really
supposed to running on current kit, and most of the good reviews that I
have
seen have been on 2Ghz+ P4s or Athlons.

WMC has one massive feature that XBMC doesn't - Tivo functionality, XBMC
has
the added benefit of not being under Microsoft's paw, and therefore,
doesn't
care about DRM.

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] XBMC or WMC?

All,

In the next few weeks I will either be replacing a PIII 800 with an
xbox+XBMC or installing WMC on the PIII. I haven't quite grasped if
xbox+there
are any differences between XBMC and WMC and would like to know what the
group recommends in the above scenario and if I decide to play games (not
live) or if I decide to install the new MC homeseer.

Any and all help appreciated.

Pedro
