They're crap, but we use them all the time. About 20% of our orders have
an
issue of one sort or another, but I guess the good prices offset the lack
of
service.

As others have said, the packaging isn't the best, our last order of 20
network cards (7 days late after paying for express delivery) was delivered
in a box that was falling apart at one end due to it being lefts in a
puddle. Normally I'd have blamed the courier, but is was taped up with
eBuyer tape, so it was them that deemed it OK to ship a soggy box. Cards
were all OK though.

As long as you're not depending on a delivery on a specific day, they're
generally OK, though we never use them for critical orders any more.

Pete

after a bit more research I'm about to push the button on an order for
upgrades similar to that suggested by Ho Yin below ( I pushed the boat out
a
little bit and spent a bit more on the graphics card). Overall, price wise
I
couldn't beat ebuyer on this occasion. I've never bought from ebuyer
before
and the level of comments on their site about DOA's and returns frighten me
a bit. Should I be worried - I know there's a few regular users of ebuyer
on here?

TIA

Malcolm
