Your memory is partially correct Tim! To the right (as you look at it) of
the green LED labelled Reset there is a small reset switch (i.e. opposite
side of the box from the power & fuse). However, I spent some
considerable time on Friday trying all sorts of combinations of pressing
the reset button during and after power on and for varying lengths of time
and each time it failed to reset the passwords. Connecting via the serial
port still only gave access via my changed user and password and not the
'out of the box' nw-admin / nw-admin user and password combination.

Having replaced mine recently with a Geovision setup I was about to sell my
MV1000 so wanted to reset the passwords before doing so. I had thought a
reset would do but I've had to change them individually via the config
screens. I've noted others selling theirs recently - what did they do??

Malcolm
