did you do a :

make install

? That would normally copy the file for you...

Personally, I think xlite sucks... It makes itself awkward to configure
hence the references to sjphone in the guide.

Failing that I can try and offer some basic assistance with xlite


The advantage of using an IAX client is that you have far fewer firewall
issues to
worry about it. I have a couple of clients on my laptop so when I am out
and about I
can connect to my * server from that, I have no probs...
