Plasterboard walls can take a *HUGE* amount of weight if the shelves are
put
up right ... I have some of that "adjustable rail" type shelving
in my
"computer room" and on the top shelf of that there is 15 reams of
A4 plus a
large number of magazines - weighs a bloody ton! Coming down the shelves

network print server and my "spares boxes", my photo printer
supplies (more
paper - pretty heavy) etc.
