RE: Anyone got an LYD-840C cmos cctv camera?
I have one of these jobbies with a 9volt batt clip on. Paper copy says
+6 to +12
centre positive. only thing is it's not quite an rca plug.. but is
similar.

Subject: [ukha_d] Anyone got an LYD-840C cmos cctv camera?
Wotchamates,
Recently I bought a camera off ebay. I was actually browsing for
something
else when I noticed it, and was like "camera? 9 quid? two minutes to
go?
buy!!! buy!!!". Turns out it was shipped from hong kong with the
postage
being twice the cost of the camera ;)
Anyway, the damn thing's actually turned up (no duty! hurrah!) sans
power
supply. It's one of them jobbers where the power is delivered via RCA
phono
plug - anybody got one, and if so can you advise me on voltage and
polarity?
It's a sealed unit, so I don't want to open it, and I'm prepared to bet
heavily that the "it's 50-50, let's suck it and see" approach
will end
in a
dead camera.
cheers
ant
