I might be totally wrong but as far as I know all power supplies emit the
same power to each connector.

So the higher the power the more sockets you have.

So i.e. if you have a 450W one there are about 6 sockets to plug in your
stuff be it hard disk, cdrom drive etc.

600W has about 10? I think?
