Is it a reverse 2.5mm jack plug - in other words an in-line jack socket?

A lot of cameras have these so you can either plug a typical wall wart PSU
into it or place an extension lead in-between.

Most electrical suppliers, Rapid, CPC, Farnell et al. have the plugs and
extension leads.
