Re: cctv cameras
Hi,
I had a guy who used my software (http://www.zoneminder.com since you
asked!) to capture some footage of a pair of felons siphoning fuel from
some
of his trucks. I don't know if it was actually used as evidence but when
the
police saw it they could see where the perpetrators had put their hands so
they knew where to look for prints. They also recognised the villains and
so
were able to pay them a visit and catch them in possession.
So while it might not be evidence per se, it was certainly a useful aid and
definitely better than nothing.
