No no, you're right, the Nokia Premicell, which I think might have a new
name now, it's been mentioned a few times on the list. Pretty sure you
can get an external antenna for them.

That would require him to take his sim card out and put it in the
Premicell when he got in the house though, which would be a PITA, and
would probably end in a worn out SIM if it was switched units at least
twice a day.... although Vodafone offers dual SIMs if you ask nicely/
know what to ask for! :-)
