What about the following - see link - .......run keyboard, video and mouse
up to 500ft from PC over a standard CAT5 cable.

Works well for me.

www.kvmswitchdirect.co.uk has an alternative model "Aten Economy KVM
Extender" for half the price, however I have not tried that one.
