Monitor extension

I'm want to move my PC into a cupboard in the dining room. I'm planning to
run a wireless keyboard and mouse. Something like

54

Ideally this will not have a pickup that needs to sit on the desk. I also
want something with a decent range ie 20/30 ft through walls.

I next question is running the monitor - at the moment the plan is to buy a
monitor extension cable and run it under the floorboards and up the leg of
the computer table. Same deal with the power. Does anyone know if
extending the VGA cableto 5/6 m degrades the picture quality in any way ?

Jeff
