Hi Marcus,
I use Homevision + PIR's (standard) + X10 for light control. I agree with
other comments that the coming up of a light via a PIR and a controller is
a
little bit slow, but we (so including my wife) are all very happy with it.
You never have to touch the switches when it is dark. We use this feature
in the hall and on first floor to turn on and off the light. During evening
and night time it also works outside the house. Other lights are controlled
by a schedule, coupled to sunrise / sunset and ' day/bedtime'. The
alarmsystem is also activated by the PIR's and controlled by Homevision.
