Neil

I did a netstat which is where i found the connections were going through
an
intermediate device and not direct to the other PC - it was painfully slow.
(both of us are running on 512/256 broadband on same isp so speed should be
good).  Only other thing i could think of is if the MSN video service gets
confused with NAT and cant make a direct connection as the ip the pc is
using is not routable
