[OT] Windows XP installs

Is it just me or does an =91out of the box=92 fresh install of XP Pro SP1

eem to be more unreliable these days?

I=92ve re-installed several PC=92s just recently and applied all the
update=
s but find general operation to be a bit unreliable (for example explorer
w=
indows hanging occasionally etc). No particular repeatable combination of
h=
ardware though as it varies from PC to PC.
