Good point, although the range on the linksys was pretty poor to start off
with, compared to my Belkin.

Not to mention that upping power on the access point won't increase your
range unless you up the power on your wireless card too.  Compare it to two
people standing a mile apart.  One has a megaphone, the other doesn't.  The
person with the megaphone can make the person without one hear them, but
can't hear the response.  They can't have a conversation.
