Quad LNB to Single Digibox ?

  • Subject: Quad LNB to Single Digibox ?

Guys,

I'm having some problems with my Sky reception and need some advice.
Reception through the Winter months was ok, not brilliant, but good
enough reception on the channels I wanted to view. Now, as a neighbour's
tree has filled out with leaves, the reception is very poor, bordering
on unwatchable. I'm getting frequent digibox lock-ups and the signal
disappears completely in any sort of rain.

I can trim the offending tree up to a point, but as it's a neighbours, I
can only go so far and I suspect I'll need to do more to get a proper
result. I'm looking at a bigger dish, but as an alternative can I
connect a single digibox via splitters to a twin or quad LNB i.e.
multiple LNB outputs to a single digibox ?

I know multiple digiboxes to a single LNB is a bad idea, but what about
the other way around ?

Thanks,

Tim H.
