Yes :-)

Size it according to where you place it (ie N resistors at R ohms, or 1
x R/N ohm resistor).

A single resistor should ensure each LED gets the same voltage, although
I'm not sure that would guarantee they'd all be the same brightness -
LEDs are known to be somewhat non-linear in their voltage/brightness
response, but I don't know how much that varies from device to device;
individual resistors would give you some room to fettle...
