Re: Workshop - underground....
It's also worth checking what it might do to the saleability of the house -
something as unusual as an underground workshop might put people off
(because of the same unfounded fear of damp or flooding that has British
builders sucking air through their teeth), or you might not get much of the
cost back when you sell.
A converted loft on the other hand, can always be turned back into a
bedroom
when the time comes to move on.
