I have used the ones BOSE do on a couple of flights and they do exactly
wha=
t
they say on the tin and cut down the background noise considerably, albeit
an expensive tin! If I remember correctly they used to be about =A3250.

Mind you I couldn't tell any difference between Bose and the usual
headphones you get in business class , but then I'm no audiophile.

OK,

Due to do lots of travelling over the next few months and have been toying
with the idea of some noise cancelling headphones.

Any recommendations ?

Cheers
