The "ecolume" occupancy PIRs do work a treat, a few of us have
them. Well, I had them in my last place, and will have them again.
They are not suitable for intruder detection as they stand, as (a)
they are too dammed sensitive, and (b) as they are wired they wont
meet the relevant British Standard for intruder alarms.
I'm despearate to fix that, as I dont want multiple PIRs in the new
house, and so may end up having to come up with a solution.....
