One little trick/tip.
If you want the same movie in sync on multiple machines, then DON'T
stream it from one client and tick "local playback" as well. This
gives an out-of-sync picture.
Instead, just stream it to a multicast IP address (239.2.12.42 is
what I use) - you can do this from the VideoLan Client, you don't
need the server.
Then open a SECOND copy of the VideoLan Client on the same PC, and
set that to replay the stream.
