Eamon- is there any chance you have a US version of the HV unit (which
supports the NTSC TV standard) - does the ROM say 'PAL' and is the hardware
using a UK crystal ? Just thinking this might cause genlock problems . I
know you have seen blue backgrounds but your TV might display NTSC. Do you
see anything at all different when you overlay the HV screen - or just the
normal TV background picture.
