i emailed tech support at my motherboard manufacturer (Jetway) and
got this rather strange reply...

===========================
Dear Sir
Thank you for support JETWAY products.

pls check your cpu. the board not support p4 prescott cpu

Thank & Best Regards

Now I've been using my current CPU and m/b for over 2 years without
any problem. The CPU is an Intel P4 2.4ghz which I believe needs a
533mhz system bus, all of which my mobo manual says it supports. So
what's a prescott???
