Hello Ian,

I have followed the thread on-list; have you found anything off-list?

I too would like to link a mobile phone to the pc to send and receive
sms messages. I realise that email to sms gateways exist, we've
talked about them here before, and I think an email client is a nice
user-friendly way of sending the sms.

Is sending via your own mobile: faster, more reliable, less expensive
than a dedicated email to sms solution?

What about the reverse: Is receiving via your own mobile faster, more
reliable, less expensive than a dedicated sms to email solution?

Please let us know how you get on.
