Some of the NTL/Telewest Pace boxes will only understand IRDa codes (in
which case you cannot control them with a Pronto) and some will understand
both IRDa and "normal" IR codes.

If you have an IRDa only NTL/Telewest box then you can control it using the
codes for a Philips OnDigital receiver using something called a Red-Eye
which translates between IR and IRDa codes as appropriate.
