Not all cable boxes are the same...
Some use IRDA which the pronto cant learn/send but there are now several
ways round it.
Lets Automate have the compatability of the various boxes listed and also
offer a gadget to get round the problem

(Cable info at the bottom)
There's simply no excuse not to have a Pronto ;-)

My Pronto does........
I have an NTL Pace box that works fine, in fact my Pronto does work every
IR device and X-10 device I have in the house, 9 IR devices I think.
I can always email you my Pronto file for you to play with? I have some
very useful bits on it from other far more intelligent members....

Well I don't have one because my DVD remote can already control the TV
too,
but no universal remotes seem able to also control my NTL cable box, so
until they do, there's nothing for me to gain by buying one.
