Hi there,
If you want portability you might consider a GP32. This plays DivX,
Xvid, MP3 and games. Someone is developing an OGG player at the
moment for it as well. The downside is, its limited to 128Mb smart
media cards, but you can get a whole movie onto one card that is very
watchable. Take a look at ww.gbax.com, www.gp32x.com and www.gp32.com
for more info.
I had a very early RIO player and after about 14 months it developed
a memory fault. Found a utility on Rio's website to format the memory
which worked a couple of times but then no more.
