Re: Serial VFD troubles
I occasionally get garbage on mine which is running via a mss100 (ethernet
serial port). Normally caused by two things
1) When first powered up, probably due to the voltage stabilising or chit
chat from the mss100 unit.
2) When I have been buggering about with the electric cable behind the tv,
again either electric signal or interference on the Cat5e cable.
I have resolved this by just getting xplhal to send a clear display command
every half an hour or so.
