These units also exist as s-video + stereo audio but hard to locate.
Cheapest I found was 77$ at www.hometech.com, excluding shipment and
possible customs duties (you always need 2) fact that they are
passive looks attractive though. Also found them in France at
Integrason.com but 94 Euro is expensive.

I might consider them after all because I would not like to add 2
power supplies for Kat5 modules really (another ps to drive up the ac
bill !
