Hi Rob,
A link to the picture would have made it easier to find!!!
Its just a smoothing capacitor on the power input by the looks of things.
Easy enough to replace but you need to know why it popped in the first
place.
electrolytic capacitors usually pop because they have been connected the
wrong way round. Was the kit working before it went pop or not ?
If it was, there is a possibility that the capacitor was fitted the wrong
way round, if it wasnt working then the power supply polarity could be
wrong.
If the power was connected the wrong way round then its is highly likely
that other parts may have been damaged.
