First off, I don=92t know much about xPL / xAP apart from what people have
=
sent me and reading a few bits on here.

My HA system consists of lots of bits of kit tied currently together with
A=
CE and HomeVision. HV is still the =91workhorse=92 of my system as I want
s=
ome degree of reliability without PC for critical applications (such as
int=
egration with Comfort that I have extensively talking to HV). Must say
thou=
gh, my W2K server that all the HA apps run on has been pretty reliable :-)
=
So to make use of various new xPL / xAP apps that are appearing all over t=
he place, I=92d like to feed their info/data/responses into HV. HV is
conne=
cted permanently to my server via serial as well as directly to Comfort
(fo=
r the reliability and speed bit). The HV app runs on the server.

How can I integrate xPL / xAP into what I already have =96 do I need the
my=
thical HV DDE plugin for one/both systems or can I already do it in
another=
way (not direct serial as I need the HV app running to pass info to ACE an=
d vice versa).

Any ideas?

Ta,

Paul.
