I have just started to use the 'Lobby' suite too - still learning and
playing. It looks now (with ML Server) that it has great potential in HA
land ... I'll let you know as I discover more. Still a couple of gripes -
it
is a little 'closed' as it is all Flash - you can't modify some of the
scenes for example - and secondly I have some speed issues - again there is
a Flash upgrade from Macromedia due anytime promising a speed increase of
between 2X and 10X so that will be good - some of the issues are
client/server linkages though with say Media Centre - I have some real 'go
slows' where I lose response for many seconds - often thinking it has hung
-
but I am using the MC9.1 beta which may be causing this. That is a great
product too - you need it for MusicLobby btw.
Kevin
Re the email thing - I did get put on the Cinemar list when I asked for the
demo but I got only a couple of announce messages - I never saw this email
address used in the spam I receive. I use a different email address for all
the different places I have to give it so I know when it comes back - Yahoo
groups is the worst and realnetworks/choiceradio not far behind. I truly
regret ever installing Real Audio (and Gator) a way back - I've paid ever
since.
Why does everyone spamming assume I need Viagra or an upgrade ! Quite happy
thanks - last time I checked - which is not as often as I would like I must
admit.
