I just tried el cheapo Marley one from B&Q I think it was. Not the
quietest, but mounted away from the room seems OK. Reasonable suck on it
but this will depend on the length of hose you use (I just vent the air
into the loft)

Did you get your inline one from Screwfix or somewhere else ? I've been
looking at that for another application and wondered about the noise, suck,
etc.

As for other sources, you could try Villavent (whole house ventilation
people). Others over on the Selfbuild list would be able to suggest some
other companies too :-)
