I have some absolutely *gorgeous* VFD displays that I am selling..

Here's a shot of them in action:

http://www.wintermute-ltd.com/vfd.jpg

It's a 40x2 Noritake CU40026SCPB-T24A Display, it takes a 5V (has to be
well
regulated) power supply, and direct RS-232 connection. The T24A version (I
have the datasheet available) can handle proper RS232 voltages, so doesn't
need any sort of level shifter to be connected to PC's serial port.

You can also use it with PICs etc through a MAX232 chip..

I have 25 of these,

...and including the ones I am keeping, 13 are already gone, for use as
home
displays

<token plug>
And there's xPL software available for them already! ;)
</token plug>

I'm selling them for £65 + Shipping (I will bring them to UKHA if you are
going)

Please contact me offlist rather than posting here :)

Ian.
