Dial *into* the hotel (Spare PC with a Modem setup for RAS or similair?)

a "normal" phone call rather than a "hotel* call.

You would of course only get a 32Kish connection at best :-(

I have finally got news back from the hotel about the cost of the phone
calls (we need internet connection for some of the demos) and it is not
good news. 30p per minute! We do have sufficient funds to cover the cost
of the two days connection, but it makes a significant dent in the prize
fund. So, does anyone have any bright ideas about how we can get several
computers on the internet for 2 days from the hotel either bypassing
their phone system (using mobiles?) or connecting to a free number
(0800, 0808 etc)?

Graham
